Re: Best Samsung tablet

Why only Samsung? I'm having great performance and outstanding screen from Huawei Mediapad M3 8.4.

Re: Best Samsung tablet

I'm using an old Galaxy Tab Pro with no issues (pre Galaxy Tab S, S2, etc.).  Naviator runs smoothly and reliably on it.

Re: Best Samsung tablet

I am using a Samsung Tab A 8"...its fast, great clarity. Runs Naviator very smoothly with my Trio Autopilot. It is also inexpensive. I am also running Naviator on an Oppo R9S Plus mobile phone.

Re: Best Samsung tablet

I've been using a Samsung Tab Pro 8.4 for several years.  Runs Naviator great.  Needs an SD card to boost memory if you download a good amount of charts and an external power source for longer than 3-4 hour flights with the internal GPS going (which has been great).  In an otter box, it gets hot when I get hot.  Screen is the perfect aspect ratio for approach plates.  I've been happy with it.  About $200 for a refurb on the Amazon.

+1 on the Samsung Tab A 8".  Perfect size to have on my kneeboard with the stitched VFR charts.  I also use a Moto G5 on a RAM mount on the yoke w/ 3d view & bluetooth connection to my headphones for traffic callouts (using Stratux w/AHRS chip).

Re: Best Samsung tablet

I use a samsung tab 7 lte velcrod to my panel.  Strange thing though, the maps, terrain, everything you download will stop working.  Naviator becomes a white screen and a course line.  You gotta uninstall the app then reinstall it and download everything again.  Then the approach plates wont load ot a map wont show up again.  I suspect the tablet.  My advice, stay away from the 7inch samsungs
