Check box vs touching approach plates

Hi,
I can open instrument approach plates on my 2013 Nexus 7 by touching the name of the plate, but can't figure out what checking the box(es) next to the approach plate does.  If posted elsewhere, please redirect.

Re: Check box vs touching approach plates

When you tap the checkbox beside an approach plate, it will add a button labeled 'TPP' to the map screen. Tapping the TPP button will open the selected approach plate. This allows you to quickly switch between the map screen and the approach plate.

Cheers,
Mike

Re: Check box vs touching approach plates

I see that now, thanks. Is there a way to check more than one so I can swipe between checked plates, maybe using TPP or another method?
