Where does the altitude info for a recorded flight come from?
GPS, Altimeter, encoder, transponder???

Re: altitude info for recorded flight

It would be from the GPS.  Naviator devices typically do not have access to transponder or static/pressure data.

Re: altitude info for recorded flight

That's correct; The altitude is GPS-derived height above MSL.
