Today I bought a brand new Huawei M3 TAB 8.4" but for my surprise the SPLIT SCREEN option is not working, it is showing like smartphone layout.
PLEASE I need to activate that function. I would like to have that feature available no matter the device and let me decide If I want to use it or not.
AND PLAN button crashes the app, no matter the screen visualization mode (small, medium or large).
I can beta test an apk if you let me.

Main issue is not having split screen. Other issues are crashes to desktop when pressing some buttons or changing screen orientation.
Screen specs:
8.4 inches
Resolution 1600 x 2560
359 DPI
I think the problem is in the new higher resolutions (2K, 4K) and bigger DPI of the new devices, older devices had no problems.
Will be grateful If Naviator update its graphic engine in order to be compatible with newer devices.
Sold my old devices and bought newer ones (2016 models) but I was not aware about the incompatibility and right now I dont have a trusted device to fly.

When the app crashes, do you see an option to "report" or something similar to that? If so, please submit a crash report and include your forum user name or email address so that I can trace the crash report back to this post.
Cheers,
Mike

In my case the app closes and exit itself, so there is no crash report option.

Were these issues ever resolved? I've tried emailing Mike at Naviator Support to see if there was a resolution, but he hasn't responded to the emails.
This looks like the most capable of today's 8 inch tablets with a 16/9 screen aspect ratio.

Mike returned my email. Apparently these issues have not been resolved, and he does not have access to an M3 to do testing.

I am having the same issues with my M3 using Android 7.
Hope there will be a solution soon.

Despite these reports, I went out and bought a Mediapad M3 8.4 anyway. (Perhaps I'm not so bright?) Couldn't resist the discounted price and the amazing screen.
But, I can happily report that I now have no such issues at all. My only problem was needing to change the tablet's "view mode" in the Display settings to Small. With other settings, the menus were messed up and the layers didn't work at all. Once I changed the View Mode to Small, everything works just like on my old Nexus 7.
I would guess that the other View modes use some kind of interpolation on the screen resolution, which messes up how Naviator wants to use display, while small uses the screen hardware cleanly. Please try that change (which will require a device reboot) to see if things work better.
BTW, my Mediapad is still at Android 6.0 and the stock EMUI interface.

I've recently picked up the Huawei MediaPad T3 7.0", as it's just about the smallest full-function tablet on the market right now - physically smaller than my usually preferred Samsung. I'm limited to this small tablet due to panel space in my Midget Mustang - very tiny available real estate.
I'm stuck with Android 6.0 for right now (no updates from Huawei, and nobody seems to have been able to root it), so split screen isn't an option for me native, and I can't get Naviator to function in tablet mode.
I cannot find this screen setting to change to small - the only display settings I have are font (which doesn't seem to affect it) - is this hidden somewhere else??

Settings -> Display
View Mode is immediately above Font Size and immediately below Wallpaper.
But - My system has done an OTA update to Android 7.0 and EMUI 5.0.1 Although this setting *was* there back in 6.0, it might have been elsewhere.

Thanks - not there on mine. Must be because it's a T3 instead of an M3 - I really don't like that EMUI overlay that Huawei has - very bloated and restrictive. From what I've seen online, nobody's been able to root the T3 yet either.

Sometimes, I can get it to offer split screen when I'm in landscape mode, but it crashes to desktop every time I try. It's hit or miss when it pops up - tried from a couple different screens.

Just want to inform that with the latest EMUI updates, Naviator is working OK with Huawei tablet (split screen Is now working using small screen aspect).
